Heads up! It be National Poetry Month, land lubbers! My friend Tim and I are doing this blog thing, maybe avec contributions from other writerly friends, as celebration! Poem a day celebration!

I was slightly miffed that Tim rejected my numerous blog title ideas (the gem of the gems: LEAVES OF SASS), so I wrote a hackneyed Gertrude Stein imitation for today in order to let him know what I think of his choice. Not that I don’t like Stein, just that it’s not so hard to write like her in my current slightly altered state. Probably I will post real poems in the future, and if they are any good I may drop a link again.
